League of Legends patch 7.15: Urgot, and his exploding knees

League of Legends' next big content patch is 7.15, introducing a massive rework to Urgot, as well as a host of balance and bug fixes. Have a look below for all the information we've got, straight from the PBE.

LoL Patch 7.15 Release Date And Downtime

We don't know the exact release date for patch 7.15 yet, but the schedule is bi-weekly so expect it on Wednesday 24 July. We'll update when Riot do, but keep an eye on the server maintenance page for the latest updates.

LoL Patch 7.15 Champion Rework: Urgot

The focus of patch 7.15 is a large-scale rework to Urgot, including a new kit, voiceover, and cosmetics. It's ready for you to test on the PBE now.

Echoing Flames (Passive)

  • When Urgot hits an enemy in the direction of one of his legs with a basic attack, that leg will blast flames outward, dealing [40% of total AD] plus [4.5/5.25/6/7/8% at 1/6/9/13/15] of the target's max health as physical damage to all enemies in a cone. Each consecutive hit within 5 seconds deals 10% reduced damage, down to a minimum of 70%.
  • After firing, that leg goes on cooldown for [30/25/20/15/10 at 1/6/9/11/13, affected by CDR] seconds (minimum 2.5s).
  • Max damage on monsters is capped as follows: 25/45/65/85/105/125/145/165/185/205/225/245/265/285/305/325/345/365

Corrosive Charge (Q):

  • Mana cost: 55
  • Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds
  • Urgot fires an explosive charge at the target location, dealing 25/70/115/160/205 (+70% bonus AD) physical damage and slowing affected enemies by 45/50/55/60/65% for 1 second.
  • Urgot will also lock on to enemy champions hit by the blast.

Purge (W):

  • Mana cost: 45/50/60/65/70
  • Cooldown: 13/12/11/10/9 seconds
  • For the next 4 seconds, Urgot shields himself for 60/90/120/150/180 (+30% bonus Health) and rapidly shoots the nearest enemy, prioritising champions that are locked onto, triggering Echoing Flames whenever possible. While firing, Urgot is slowed by 125 movement speed but has 40% slow resistance.
  • While Purge is active, Urgot can walk over minions and non-epic monsters but cannot basic attack normally. He shoots up to 3 times a second, dealing 12 (+20/24/28/32/36% AD) per shot.
  • Damage is based on Urgot's attack damage, applies on-hit effects at 33% damage, and cannot critically strike.
  • Deals a minimum of 50 damage to minions.

Disdain (E):

  • Mana cost: 50
  • Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds
  • Urgot charges in a direction. If he collides with an enemy champion, he will stop, stunning them for 1.25 seconds, and throwing them to his other side, dealing 60/100/140/180/220 (+50% bonus AD) physical damage. Urgot also locks on to enemy champions hit.
  • Non-champions take the same damage but are knocked aside.
  • Cannot cross terrain.

Fear Beyond Death (R):

  • Mana cost: 100
  • Cooldown: 120/95/70 seconds
  • Urgot fires a chem-drill beacon that impales the first enemy champion hit, locking onto them, dealing 50/175/300 (+50% AD) physical damage, and slowing them by up to 75% movement speed for 3 seconds.
  • If the target falls below 25% health while impaled, Urgot may recast the ability, lashing out with chains that suppress the target and drag them in for execution. This will happen automatically if the target is below the health threshold at the end of the effect.
  • If Urgot successfully executes an enemy, he fears all nearby enemies for 1.5 seconds.
  • Target's movement speed decreases according to their missing health.
  • Urgot cannot take other action while executing a target, and his death will end the event.

Here's a preview of Urgot's new kit in action:

Finally, here's a bit of new biographical lore:

"Once a powerful Noxian headsman, Urgot was betrayed by the empire for which he had killed so many. Bound in iron chains, he was forced to learn the true meaning of strength in the Dredge — a prison mine deep beneath Zaun. Emerging in a disaster that spread chaos throughout the city, he now casts an imposing shadow over its criminal underworld. Raising his victims on the very chains that once enslaved him, he will purge his new home of the unworthy, making it a crucible of pain."

LoL Patch 7.15 Balance Changes
hat out of the way, let’s start with the really important bit, shall we? What you need to remember is that stuff on the PBE like this is neither guaranteed to happen, nor to be in the next patch even if it does. LoL Patch 7.15 New Skins

Second most important: cosmetics. Lovely, gorgeous cosmetics. Bit more of a visual medium this, so we’ve grabbed the best videos of each skin, as well as a lovely pic or two. Some are relatively simple changes, while others are total reworks of every part of the champion outside the gameplay numbers - new VO, new animations, new particles and the rest. It’s generally defined by how much they cost, so we’ve detailed that as well.

Urgot, the Dreadnought, and skin update
Since it's all about Urgot this time, he's got a new skin (the Dreadnought) and all three of his existing skins have had an update. Assume these will be at the same price and rarity as before.

10 Top Sexiest League of Legends Skins

One of the largest games in the world, League of Legends is no stranger to well-done character creation and character appearance. As a Free To Play game, though, Riot Games, the game's creator, needed a way to recoup their costs and make it a truly profitable game. Enter the idea of skins. Just like many other Free to Play games, players can purchase new champion outfits (also known as skins) to customize their champion in a new way. As over 90% of League of Legends players are male, it may come as no surprise that many of the female champion skins are pretty easy on the eyes. Short skirts, bare stomachs, and long legs are the par for many of the available female champion skins. Not all sexy skins are created equal, though. Here at some of the 10 Top Sexiest League of Legends skins. Some are still available for purchase while others will just have to be something you lust over. Click Here to Continue
